Author Biography

Oksana Ball is a wool artist living and working in Hoboken, New Jersey. Originally from Russia, she became acquainted with the art of "Wool Painting" as a hobby when she lived there. Mostly self-taught, Oksana left her corporate job as a Search Engine Optimization specialist and embarked on a full-time career as a professional artist. After moving to America, Oksana continued her passion with wool painting and began teaching small classes to beginners. In 2016, she opened her online store, started exhibiting her works publicly, and wrote her first tutorial book from her experiences of teaching wool painting. Oksana's paintings have been accepted into many juried exhibitions in America and her artwork has been purchased by private collectors from all around the world.
