Author Biography
Carlespie Mary Alice McKinney is an essayist whose life experiences include witnessing the murder of his mother when he was twelve, rejecting academic scholarships to prestigious colleges after becoming a member of a cult, raising his children in that cult only to be ostracized by them for later rejecting that cult. He eventually returned to school and earned his MBA from Wayne State University and is now a business professor at Oakland Community College in Michigan.
