by Dorothy Scott (Author)
Judge not, that you be not judged. (ESV) Matthew 7:1 I say stand in your truth, because that's the only thing that will set you free.I didn't always think this way. There is a such thing as healing wrong and that is what I did.I pushed everything to the back of my mind, so I didn't have to deal with it. That was my way of healing. That is all I knew and that is what I applied to my life.To believe it took forever to get to this point today in order to tell my story, it's true. Without any anger, rage, resentment, ill intentions and or malice against those who abused me. My desire has always been freedom from the memory of the abuse I endured at an early age. The abuse has caused a delay in my identity and my growth; mentally, physically and emotionally. But today I'm okay with standing in my truth. Stand in your truth so the past will not delay your tomorrow.
