His Ancient History Changed Her - Her Love Could Not Change Him
When Sarah meets Dr. Matthew Falcone in 1974, she's immediately drawn into his warm and playful personality and his desire to find cures to diseases like cancer and dementia. She falls in love with him but struggles with his secret-his de-aging and re-aging anomaly. He shows her the evidence, his mansion's secret room-a fortification where he stores parchments and scrolls dating back before Christ's birth. Sarah is drawn into his humanitarian research as well as his desire to learn the reasons for his aging dilemma.
When the story ends, questions remain:
- Is the tale ever really over, and
- when does living become forever?
D.Q. (Doug) Grossa has lived in Thailand, Australia, and the United States. He has made five world circumnavigations, journeying through over one hundred countries and forty-nine states. He claims his travels were motivating factors for writing When Living Becomes Forever. Many of the chapters were written on six of the seven continents. From those places, Doug used the social, geographic, and historical fabric to feed the plot of his novel. Doug and his wife, Sally Shumway, live in New Port Richey, Florida.
