Author Biography

Carl has previously published two volumes of his poems: "Lifesong", and "Sirensong". He freelances as a combat journalist. His latest article is in "Soldier of Fortune" Magazine Carl was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised in the small town of Ennis. He has degrees from the University of Dallas and the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a graduate of the Playwright Studio of the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Sydney, Australia . Carl served as a Recon Platoon Leader with the First Cavalry Division, as well as with the 75th Rangers. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star, the Air Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
