by Neesha E. Oliver (Author)
Amelia Bayberry is plagued by the memory of a child she's never had. As her faith is challenged more than ever, will she be able to surrender her own will and confront her deepest fears? The seasons change, but Amelia and Jacob Bayberry's lives remain the same - barren. They tried having children on their own for six years before seeking advice from medical professionals. However, each appointment leads them no closer to the truth they seek. Caught in the midst of their disappointment, they struggle to be happy for others who are entering joyful life changes. Amelia watches her brother's new found relationship develop and worries whether they will marry and have children before her and Jake. At the same time, her sister announces she is pregnant, and Amelia must observe everything she longs to experience for herself happen to her sister. The absence of the child they have longed to have and dreamed about for many years begins to wear on their relationship. Will this challenge cause them to doubt their faith and each other? Or will it bring them closer than they could ever have imagined and open doors they never thought they would have to enter?
