A forgotten treasure lies buried in the backyard of a house in Old Town Key West. Hidden inside, among the gold, silver, and jewels, is a golden skull that bears a powerful curse. When an ambitious young voodoo priest comes to unearth the treasure, he awakens the curse. He also awakens a band of voodoo zombie pirates who want to get control of the skull and use its power to take over Key West. This is the story of the battle for Key West, waged by a group of locals: a voodoo sorceress, her reluctant prot g , a boat captain, a waiter, a sculptor, a pedicab driver, and various cooks, musicians, clerks, and drag queens. Together they must stand against the voodoo zombie pirates and find a way to destroy the cursed skull before Key West is overrun.
Author Biography
Before becoming a writer, Cliff Murray was a corporate attorney in Dallas, Texas. At various other points in his life, he has worked as an industrial engineer, a boilermaker, a pipefitter, a security guard, and a loader of ice cream trucks. He now lives in Old Town Key West with his girlfriend, Mari, and their Little Bitty Dog.
