Author Biography
Jack of all trades, master of none... That phrase sums up my life to date. I started adulthood in the US Military, then went on to work in the world of Las Vegas Private Investigation, then, became a figurative sculptor, go figure... That's when the writing bug bit me. I would spend hours of my day, alone, working in my preferred medium of terracotta clay, focusing on copying the image in my head into a three dimensional form of clay. I would listen to audio books while I worked, all the time thinking, "I could do that." I have a tough time shutting my mind off at the end of a day, so I would form stories in my head and found the writing process quite similar to sculpting. You see for me, I view an image in my head and simply regurgitate what I see into clay. When I write, it's very much the same. It's like I'm looking through a window and seeing a story play out before my very eyes, all I have to do is copy what I see. Once I get the first draft of the story down, it's just a matter of polishing and tweaking it into something that hopefully others will find entertaining. I write only what I like to read or listen to. I think that is the key to writing stories for me. Write what entertains yourself. I'm a basic guy I guess, I love woodworking, and I'm thrilled that I get to work with a computer every day. I love the outdoors, animals, horror movies and books, I'm a motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoy shooting sports. I love my two Boxers and Pit Bull. I think having cats in one's life makes it better. I bleed Orange and Black. Go San Francisco GIANTS!!
