Vietnamese citizens; diverse culture and geography of Vietnam; and revolutionary medical advancements first used by doctors at American evacuation hospitals in Vietnam. Trust Not provides a new understanding and appreciation of the sacrifices made by everyone involved in the Vietnam War.

Jane C. Chapin has published three presidential biographies under the name Jane C. Walker. John Tyler: A President of Many Firsts; John Adams; John Quincy Adams. Captain William G. Haneke is a Vietnam Veteran and a Co-Founder of Families of the Wounded, which earned the D.A.R. award in 2008.
