by J. D. Payne (Author)
As Jesus builds His Church, His Church must keep going to the edge and beyond. Many people fear the edge. They try to stay as far from it as possible because it comes with risks. But being on the edge means being on the frontiers of Kingdom expansion. And going beyond the edge means blazing new directions as the Spirit leads. In this inspiring and motivating book, pastor and missiologist J. D. Payne shares a collection of his thoughts related to leadership, mission, and innovation. Biblically and missiologically grounded, To the Edge will challenge you to think differently about your mission and God's world in light of the four billion people who remain without Christ. "Practical and thought provoking insights about a wide range of topics affecting Great Commission influencers." -Steve Moore, Executive Director, Center for Excellence in Leadership, author of SeizeTheVujade.com "The wisdom contained in these pages is not abstract theory. . . . Read, ponder, apply, and then read again." -Jeff Christopherson, author of Kingdom Matrix, Vice President for Send City Network, North American Mission Board "This book is a must-read for any Christian serious about carrying out the Great Commission." -Robby Gallaty, Senior Pastor of Brainerd Baptist Church, author of Growing Up and Firmly Planted
