This book tells of my growing up in the 60's and early 70's in a large family in the Western North Carolina Mountains. It tells of my family, my grandparents and my granny. There are some stories that are funny but there is also some that are sad. This is not completely accurate, because it's the memories of a child. This book talks about the hardships endured, living on a farm with very little money and a very large family. It tells how the grandparents stepped in to help out when needed. It talks about what it was like in school during that time. It also talks about a 16 year old's thoughts, when she finds out that her aunt is really her sister.
