Author Biography
Morgan Detyens writes fiction in Idaho, where she lives with her husband, son, three cats, and a Malamute rescue. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Graphic Design. Her first published book, The Dreaming Hour, an illustrated collection of short stories and poetry, is written especially for 8-12 year olds. In addition to The Nine Lives of Shaidu the Warrior Cat, she has finished writing the second and third books of her YA fantasy-adventure trilogy and is currently working on a science fiction novel. When not writing, she enjoys playing the mountain dulcimer, and volunteering for Moonsong Malamute Rescue, a non-profit organization that saves Arctic dog breeds from kill shelters and puppy mills.
