Author Biography
Paul Brown has taught in Seattle Schools since 1996 in a variety of roles and capacities. He enjoys creative projects that inspire and satisfy the child's natural appetite to learn. Paul now serves as a math specialist and develops curricula designed to reach all students. Presently, he works in primary grades with a mission to help build a strong foundation for a diverse demographic at his neighborhood school. In the course of pursuing his hobbies such as music and writing, Paul employs many of the strategies expressed in this book to accelerate his own learning progress. One example is learning to play blues & boogie on the piano, a skill set that requires giving the brain processing time between self-invented practice drills. Brown also authored AQUALENE, an action-packed eco-fiction novel based on clean energy versus Big Oil.
