Author Biography
Randy DeCuir has been in the newspaper business for over 30 years in Louisiana and is the author of over a dozen regional histories of the central Louisiana area. Carlos Mayeux, Jr has a life long dedication to education and history. He is president of La Commission des Avoyelles, a member of the Avoyelles Parish School Board and a director of the Avoyelles Commissin of Tourism.
