Author Biography
French author Gabriel-Joseph de Lavergne, viscount of Guilleragues, was working in the service of the Louis XIV as a private secretary. He was later appointed as ambassador to Constantinople . Guilleragues is known for two works that constitute his entire literary oeuvre: Valentins et The Love Letters of Portuguese Nun. Josephine Lazarus (23 March 1846 - 1910) was an American essayist, book critic and transcendentalist
