by Laurence Walsh (Author)
Suicidal as a teenager and unfulfilled as an adult (writing on hit TV shows like CSI: Miami and NCIS), Laurence commits herself to raising her levels of joy from "mediocre" and "dipping into miserable" to "feeling fantastic" and "laughing throughout her day." What begins as an outward journey to increase her levels of joy becomes an inner process of clearing negative thoughts, self-hatred, and misunderstandings with the world. Laurence shares her profound discoveries in her touching new book, "The Joy Experiment." In an astonishingly honest book, Laurence relates what she learned about becoming fully joyful as she faced her own "dark night of the soul" to transform her life. With her newfound wisdom and clarity, Laurence creates a powerful workbook to guide her readers in clearing their own toxic thoughts, feelings, and patterns and return to the joyful, happy state that is their natural birthright.
