Author Biography
The Author: Garrett Ward Sheldon is the John Morton Beaty Professor of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Virginia's College at Wise. He received a Ph.D. in Political Theory from Rutgers University and studied at the New School for Social Research in New York City and Princeton Theological Seminary. An internationally renowned scholar on political theory, religion and politics, and Jefferson, Sheldon has lectured at Moscow University, Regent University, and Oxford University.
