by Desmond Ford (Author)
Is the New Testament Sabbath still binding on Christians? Desmond Ford believes it is as we live in this increasingly difficult world. The Sabbath provides a unique opportunity to spend time in worship with our Maker in order to fortify ourselves for Christian living. Above all, Ford believes that the Sabbath is a symbol of the rest of heart that we receive when we accept Jesus as our Savior and Redeemer.
Author Biography
Desmond Ford has been a teacher, preacher, minister, scholar, and evangelist for over sixty years. He is internationally well known for his focus on Christ, salvation, the gospel, and the doctrine of justification by faith. Now retired, he still preaches and writes. Dr. Ford has two earned doctorates, one in rhetoric from Michigan State University; the other in New Testament eschatology from Manchester University, where his supervisor was Professor F. F. Bruce. Here, he invites you to enter into the rest of the finished work of Christ as you study with him the New Testament doctrine of the Sabbath.
