Author Biography
Abandoned buildings and the industrial landscape were woven into the fabric of this author, artist, photographer and musician at an early age. Growing up in Philadelphia exposed Fred Szabries to superlative architecture along with the inevitable urban decay. This contrasted landscape has shaped his professional career as an artist and is reflected in his masterful use of industrial materials such as aluminum and steel. Since beginning his art career in 1992, he has attracted an international audience with his signature style. His work is avidly sought by art connoisseurs worldwide and can be found in prestigious collections, both corporate and private. This is his first book. He lives in Florida with his son.
