The book is dedicated to former Vice President Hubert Humphrey, the greatest and most courageous man the author had ever known.
Author Biography
Mike McLeod has spent a long career in public and private service beginning with his graduation from law school in 1967. His career was interrupted by his service in active duty in the Army National Guard during the riots in Washington in 1967. in his chapter on the horrors of war he notes how this service saved him form service in Vietnam--service which made his friend Max Cleland a paraplegic.
