The book is edited and translated by Jin Zhong(Jone Guo), one of the most eminent Chinese poetry translators and a poet in exile. Author Biography
Jin Zhong, pen name of Jone Guo, is a poet in exile in San Diego, California. He was born in China in 1962. He got his master's degree in American literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University in 1989. Then he was expelled for being a student activist. The security bureau of his school charged him of "anti-government activities" in a statement which he refused to sign. He came to the US in December 1991. Jin Zhong is an artist, poet, and translator. He translated Anne Sexton, Joseph Brodsky. He is the earliest translator of Duo Duo, Wang Jiaxin, Mo Fei and Beiling back in 1980's. All these translations are published. He is currently working on his new collection of poems called " Exile Letters."
