Author Biography
Samsarah Morgan is a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth, breastfeeding and parenting educator. She is a bereavement counselor and doula. She is an interfaith minister counselor, hypnotherapist and family life coach. Fall 2016 she will celebrate 37 years as a birthworker. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Oakland Better Birth Foundation. She is Founder and Director of Nia Healing Center for Birth and Family Life, Shiphrah's Circle Community Doula Program, Birth Professionals of America and Bay Area Birth Keeper Doulas. Samsarah has trained doulas under her own organization for 20 years and she will soon be an ICTC International Center for Traditional Childbearing, certified full circle doula trainer.
