Gina Hall, a Radford University freshman, disappeared on June 29, 1980, after spending the evening with Steve Epperly, a former Virginia Tech football player, whom she had not previously met. Lookabill and his law partner, David Warburton, represented Epperly on the first-degree murder charge, based upon an indictment handed down by a Pulaski County Grand Jury, even though a body had not been found.
Author Biography
R. Glennwood Lookabill "Woody" Lookabill has lived in Pulaski County his entire life. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Washington and Lee University School of Law, and is a United States Army Veteran. Woody and Jane, his wife of forty-three years, have three married children and six grandchildren. He has served as a Virginia General District Court Judge since 2006.
