Author Biography
Tabitha Barnett lives in Eastern Kentucky with her Common Law husband, Author Franklin Newberry, and two small children. She never really considered herself an artist, although she always enjoyed drawing, painting and crafts. In high school and college she took all of the art classes offered, but never entertained the idea of art as a career. In the early 2000s, she became interested in computer graphic design, and for the most part just stopped drawing. With the hustle and bustle of daily life - work and family, she drifted away from her artistic abilities completely. In March of 2015, she stumbled on the tangling and doodling method of drawing. After posting several zentangle inspired pieces of art to her Facebook page, a friend suggested she create her own adult coloring book. At this point in her life, she was a stay at home wife and mother, and the older of her 2 children was just starting school. With plenty of time on her hands, she took to the challenge. Much to her surprise, the adult coloring community welcomed her with open arms. In September she published her first book, "Tangled Dreams". Today she gives you her fourth book(and very first 'themed' book), "That 70s Coloring Book". With each new work, she is coming more and more "into her own" developing her unique, easily recognizable style.
