Author Biography

Dr. Kerry A Skidmore is a retired ordained pastor in the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church. She studied with C. Peter Wagner, John Maxwell and John Wimber at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and earned the Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001. She has also attended Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Missouri as well as the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. In 1997 she was honored with receiving the Harry Denman Evangelism Award from the Conference for her work in church growth and evangelism. She has ministered across denominational lines in Baptist churches, United Brethren Churches, Assemblies of God churches as well as serving United Methodist churches for over twenty years. She is a Bible teacher, writer and seminar speaker. In addition to this work she authored ""Get Ready...for Christmas" Preparations for the Advent Season.
