La'Quana Jones wrote Stolen Virginity because she wanted her life back. She was tired of feeling like she was in the wrong after being raped. She had it hard growing up because she was always afraid and angry. She didn't know how to deal with it. She didn't know what people would think of her if she told them. Being raped is never easy, but when you don't receive love and support from your friends and family it makes life even harder. The first time she was raped she was about six years old the last time was when she was Nineteen. When she was thirteen she was a victim of domestic violence for the first time. In this book she talk about verbal abuse and how she dealt with all of the pain that she endured. She want people understand that they can still live life and be happy.
