The Srī Rehrās Sāhib is the evening prayer recited by Sikhs worldwide. Unlike a lot of other prayers this is a collected amalgamation on shabads by various Gurūs. The shabads are from both Srī Gurū Granth Sāhib Jī and Srī Dasam Granth. There are a number of different versions of the Srī Rehrās Sāhib available to read out there but the one within this text almost mirrors the one recited within the Purātan Sampardās even today. This commentary is very different. It is a commentary by the great Nirmalā scholar, Mahant Ganeshā Singh. Unlike other Nirmalās his commentaries are pretty basic but the essence of the definitions is not lost within the simplicity. I wanted to provide both the original commentary in Gurmukhī along with a translation of the commentary. This is due to the fact that this commentary has been out of print for a significant amount of time and to those seekers of the original commentary it is available again.
