Author Biography
Artist and award winning photographer, Dee Lindner, has had her sock money-themed work featured on radio, television, in magazines, and newspapers across the U.S.A. Novelty products based on her action-oriented photographs of sock monkeys have been published by Andrews McMeel, Bradford Checks, Ltd., Galison, Peaceable Kingdom, and Peter Pauper Press, and sold throughout the world. She has written articles about collectibles and other items for magazines such as Country Collectible, Country Victorian, and Cappers. She has appeared on the cover of Country Woman Magazine, wherein she shared her 'socktastic' story. Dee Lindner promotes the Red-heel Sock Monkey Tradition through her work. She has authored a number of sock monkey-themed books: Monkey Love; Friends Knock Your Socks Off; Sew Cute and Collectible Sock Monkeys; Sock Monkeys: Coloring Book; Sock Monkeys: Summer Fun Coloring Book; Sock Monkeys: America's Love Story; Sock Monkeys: Thready Wisdom, Sock Monkeys and You On Your Socksational Day; Sock Monkeys and You On Your Sockpendous Day; and Sock Monkeys: How to Sockceed in Business.
