Sir Henry Stone's Grand Wateega Expedition is a 23 page, fiction picture book for 6-9 year old children. It is set in the fictional location of the Grand Wateega where Sir Henry has traveled to find a prehistoric tooth only read about in books. While on his journey he will learn that his base camp has been destroyed by lions and that two adorable Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies have stowed away in his luggage. He discovers the puppies upon his return to Seattle and must decide what to do. His family would love to adopt the two puppies and notice that one is hearing impaired. Sir Henry returns home with much more than just a prehistoric tooth, but an appreciation for this special breed of dog and to be home again. Sir Henry Stone's children are thrilled to have new furry friends and beg their dad to keep the puppies. Sir Henry must contact his Grand Wateega guide to learn whether he would need to return the pups or allow his family to raise them.
