Author Biography
Emanuel Giordano is 4th dan master of Karate Shorin-ryu, and is the author of the bestseller "The legend of the masters of Okinawan Karate-Biographies, curiosities and mysteries", as well as numerous articles about the Karate of Okinawa, published on the web and on sector magazines. He also translated and distributed in Italy the "Okinawan Karate and Kobudo Handbook " by Dr. Samantha K. May. The autor has practiced Karate since 1998, and since 2013 he travels to Okinawa every year to train and do research. Founder of Okinawa Karate Kenkyukai (the Italian study group of Okinawan Karate), he is in charge of the spread of Okinawa Karate in Italy, and teaches Shorin-ryu at the Dojo Kamikazekan association in Turin. He is currently in good relations with the Okinawan institutions, and is the first Italian to have been invited to a meeting of the Okinawan group of masters managed by the Okinawa Prefecture.
