Author Biography
Trenda Geller is a native Midwesterner who has traveled extensively. She graduated from Bowling Green State University (B.A.) and the University of Michigan (M.A.).
She has published poetry in anthologies: Prairie Margins (1975); Firelands Arts Review (1977, 1981); The Heartlands Today (2002) and 44839 Poetry from a Zip Code-Volume V (2022). She is a popular reader at Mr. Smith's CoffeehousevReadings in Sandusky, Ohio. Trenda is a practicing psychotherapist living with her husband James along Lake Erie's shores in Huon, Ohio. She is the parent of two adult children (son deceased). Trenda states, "Initially I saw poetry as a way to express feelings when adults were too busy to listen. Now poetry has become a way of expressing what I see and listen to in my patients, friends, and family members in our daily life."
