This book is a true story about my family. It tells of my daughter Emily and her mysterious illness. Emily became sick in the fall of 2008, and it continued until the fall of 2011. Normal everyday life for our family was no more. Every night when Emily went to sleep, Brian and I would worry would she wake up with stomach pain and start vomiting again in the morning. That fear would become overwhelming. We were also told that there was nothing making Emily sick. That she was doing this to herself. That she was afraid of food, and was doing all this vomiting for attention. Brian and I never gave up. We took her to five different hospitals. She saw many doctors until we found the one who would finally help her. He believed Emily and did the right test He saved her life. This is our story.
