Author Biography

Gig Goodloe grew up on the sun-drenched beaches of southern California, one of the original surfers immortalized by the Beach Boys in the early '60's. During the Vietnam era he served in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the icebreaker Glacier in Antarctica, taking part in Operation Deep Freeze '69-'70. After graduating from Cal-State Long Beach with a B.A in Radio, Television and Film, Gig was awarded an internship through the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences on the CBS sitcom "Alice" at Warner Bros. Studios. He produced several independent films and numerous music videos, many at the iconic Golden Bear night club in Huntington Beach. Now retired, Gig is a member of his son's jet ski racing team, currently ranked 1st on the APBA national tour and 9th in the IJSBA World Finals. In the off-season Gig writes mystery novels on Lake Nacimiento.
