by Patrick R. Pearsey (Author)
Quincy, Indiana was founded in 1854 along a rail line which eventually was owned by the Monon Railroad. This helped Quincy flourish for almost 100 years. Fires accidental or not, decimated this town of 200 people. Author Patrick Pearsey lays out the history, of the town and the people who populated it. Loaded with vintage photographs, this book covers the famed Quincy Picnic, Quincy High School, its basketball teams and one still unsolved murder case from the turn of the century.
