Author Biography
H. Philip Hsieh, the author of a chemical engineering reference book, is the editor-in-chief of a new poetry journal "Nourish - poetry and haiku" scheduled to debut in late 2017 or early 2018. He is also an editor at-large of Happiness Republic, a widely popular monthly magazine in Chinese, and a member of the editorial committee of New World Poetry Bimonthly in the U.S. He has published two poetry-related books: Sketches of Contemporary American Poetry Landscape and Selected Poems - Aesthetics of Impermanence (both in Chinese). Also an accomplished Chinese calligrapher, Dr. Hsieh extensively explores the interplay between poetry and calligraphy in his work.
