by Mba Dda Theresa M. Rosania (Author)
Pillars of Power is a unique retrospective of the lives and roles of the American woman during one of the most challenging periods in American history, World War II. American women were the "secret weapon" to winning the war as millions of them volunteered to make sacrifices and accept responsibilities as never before. This story is a powerful one told from the view of a young girl who watched and learned the difficult lessons of sacrificing for a cause greater than herself. Dr. Theresa Rosania includes photos from her personal life and the interesting stories that accompany them. This is a book that serves as a legacy, not only for her family, but for all of us.
