In "Pen State to State Pen," Cornell Richards is a young African-American male, who just recently graduated from college, but unfortunately gets arrested for the first time in his life for unknowingly, committing a crime. His conviction lands him in prison for four years. Throughout this continuous flashback tale, Cornell draws over a dozen graphic comparisons between the college life, and the jail life. He's supported by two male friends, who are also recent college graduates.
