by Charlotte Brahm (Photographer), Bonnie Howard Howell (Author)
Meditation by Nature is a collaborative work of words and photography designed to introduce meditation to some, and solidify its use for others. The subtitle reaches for the individual reader by suggesting a way to find solid ground when everything feels as though it's falling apart. Each chapter is an individual meditation around a specific theme, designed to be a stand alone piece. The book itself is meant to be used again and again as subjects come up or return. This is the second publication for Dr. Bonnie Howell, author of Stepping Stones to Success, a guide to spiritual leadership using the seven leadership truths. Photography is all original work for this project by talented artist Charlotte Brahm. The authors truly bring guided meditation to the self help bookshelf. They cover subjects such as sadness, loneliness, loss, living in the present with words and photography to guide you. It may also be used by practitioners as script for guided meditation or hypnotherapy. When not in use it may rest comfortably on your coffee table as awe inspiring nature photography. Their collaboration brings remarkable new work, in a lovely new medium, designed for personal and professional use. For those who may not have appreciated meditation as body, mind and spirit therapy, this publication invites the reader to give it a try, even if just for the pictures. For those experienced in meditation it offers a fresh approach to making the practice even more meaningful.
