Author Biography

Stan Griffin has been working in the software industry for 20 years, while writing short stories, poetry, and "Malcolm Tent Takes a Holiday" in his spare time. His formal education is computer science and mathematics. After spending several years at UCSD, Griffin had to drop out of school for lack of funding. He then took the first job he could find as a machine operator in a direct mail advertising company. After several years of warehouse labor, he moved into the software development business, finished his BS degree in Computer Science and spent a couple decades writing software applications. On a trip to Kauai many years ago, Griffin got hooked on underwater flora and fauna, and consequently took up SCUBA diving. Griffin is currently working on new adventures in writing software, novels, and articles.
