by Laticia R. Little (Author)
Learning how to live after you are healed from trauma is key to a successful life in Christ. Old habits, old mindset must be replaced with habits that truly reflect a mind ruled by Christ. Jesus hints to this understanding when he taught his disciples the parable of the empty house in Luke 11:24-25. The parable suggest that a man was cleansed of a bad spirit but, kept his house (body) empty. He did not fill his house with the Spirt of God; so, the unclean spirit that once lived there returned and even invited friends to come and reside The old habits returned and were now harder than ever to remove This is our warning; we must fill our house Filling our house with new thinking applies to every aspect of healing; losing weight, healing from cancer, healing from past hurts. In order, to maintain our healing, we must develop new knowledge and skills In Life Lessons from the Bible, Vol. II we learn the key to sustaining our spiritual healing through the message of a tree called Abraham
Author Biography
As a life coach, author and speaker, Laticia is passionate about changing lives of people who are hurting. Her spiritual insight has allowed her to bring encouragement, hope and joy to the lives of those she's touched. Born into a family of preachers, pastors and people of faith, Laticia acknowledged her call at the age of 26. She received her license to preach and was later ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. After a period of time serving in traditional ministry, she realized that she needed to explore other paths for reaching people in need. She discovered writing, coaching and teaching allowed her to reach individuals in ways preaching from the pulpit could not and a new vision was born. Laticia has always had a passion for writing which lead to her obtaining a B.S. in Communications. Here passion lay dormant for years until one day God began to show her how writing would become one of the tools she would use to fulfill her life purpose of bringing hope to those in need. Laticia's writing started began as simple reflections in a blog on spirituality; within a short period of time, her blog had readers from all over the world. She knew then that writing was something she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
