by Duncan T. Lane (Author)
Leopold Einstein-former janitor, accidental pan-dimensional being and occasional corpse-is brought back to life on a doomed spaceship where four parallel realities exist. Merrily mangling the mysteries of the cosmos, Leopold embarks on a mission across bizarre parallel worlds to "reassemble" Pen, the woman he secretly loves-and perhaps save the ship. Author Biography
I am a sci-fi novelist, hi-tech engineer, and unabashed physics geek. In my books, I like to stretch science to the limits of credulity, but I always try to base things on logical extensions of current theories. I'm very fond of logic-Spock was always my favorite character on Star Trek. When I'm not writing (i.e.: when I need to earn money), I work in hi-tech. My career has spanned everything from microprocessors to mainframes and I've been privileged to work on numerous cutting-edge projects in America, Europe and Asia. A few years ago, I decided to give myself a full six-month sabbatical from work in order to focus on finishing my first book. Now, I have finished my second book and I'm beginning a third. I think my sabbatical may be permanent. I was born in England, and grew up there on a steady diet of Monty Python, Dr Who, Douglas Adams and Red Dwarf. While studying engineering at Leicester University, I met a lovely young exchange student from America. After college, we married and moved to Sacramento, California; there we started a family and raised our two children. In 2010, we moved to San Francisco; we love it here-life is good in the "City by the Bay."
