Author Biography
Brian D. Fitch, Ph.D., is a lieutenant and a 33-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff′s Department. He was worked assignments in custody, field operations, investigations, and training. Dr. Fitch has trained more than 20,000 officers throughout the United States, as well as internationally in Canada, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, in leadership and communication skills. He holds faculty positions at California State University - Long Beach and Woodbury University.
