LA Fade Out: A Scream Queen Detective Agency Novel - Paperback

by Dave Sinclair (Author)

In Hollywood, you survive by knowing where the bodies are buried.

Nina Maddox used to be hot stuff on the silver screen-red carpets, flashbulbs, champagne. Now she's traded movie premieres for police tape, working as a private eye in the city where every smile is for sale and every secret has a price tag.But there's a slight problem with her latest case-she's not entirely sure there's a victim. The rest isn't ideal, either: her client can't be trusted, the suspects are a bunch of Tinseltown snakes and two-bit Vegas lowlifes, and the whole thing is somehow connected to a starlet from Hollywood's golden age... a woman who vanished without a trace thirty years ago.But in this town, truth is just another special effect. If Nina doesn't solve this fast, she won't just be chasing ghosts... when the credits roll, she'll be one.
