Author Biography

PAT C. HOY II is a professor of English at New York University. He is the author of Reading and Writing Essays: The Imaginative Tasks and coauthor of The Scribner Handbook for Writers. He was awarded the Cecil Woods, Jr. Prize for Nonfiction from the Fellowship of Southern Writers in 2003.
