Author Biography
Katie McClain is a life coach and teacher. She specializes in working with moms and their sons and also works with schools to help teachers and their students thrive. I began my career as a Fashion Designer, but have always been a teacher and coach at heart. I've taught other designers to design fabric using specialized software and I've worked with individuals to help them understand technology. The bottom line of my teaching has always been to help others step into their confidence in whatever area they were working on. Since raising my son, I have studied and learned a great deal about confident parenting and raising of kids. I became a coach to help other parents and kids. I wrote this book because I knew that if I'd had these tools as an adolescent, my struggles in life would have been much easier to deal with. I've found that teaching and coaching parents and the adults who raise kids is like gold. It benefits both the adults and the kids in their care.
