by Benjamin Johnson (Author)
Revelation is often treated like a riddle to solve--but it was given as a revelation of Jesus Christ to strengthen a pressured church. In these pages, readers will discover that the final book of the Bible is not about escaping tribulation but about enduring with hope. Ben Johnson takes readers through Revelation's vivid visions--the Lamb who reigns, the sealed people of God, the fall of Babylon, and the promise of a new creation--showing how every scene calls people to trust Christ's presence, resist compromise, and stand firm in faith. Written in clear, accessible language for ordinary believers and church leaders, Hope That Endures: Revelation for the Persecuted Church uncovers the story behind the symbols and points every chapter back to the heart of the message: Jesus is with his people, Jesus is in control, and Jesus is coming soon. For anyone discouraged by suffering or confused by the end times, this book offers clarity, courage, and unshakable hope in the One who holds history--and his church--in his hands.
Author Biography
Ben Johnson serves as the CEO of 10/40 Hope, a missions organization committed to equipping and sending workers to the world's least-reached regions. He lived and ministered in Lebanon for nearly a decade, partnering with local churches, discipling young leaders, and forming deep relationships throughout the Middle East. During that time he met and married his wife, Patricia Hazim, who is Lebanese. Together they are raising four children--Zoey, Kye, Seth, and Hailey--and share a deep passion for God's work in the Arab world.
A preacher, teacher, and strategist, Ben now focuses on building global partnerships, strengthening missionary teams, and helping churches cultivate a heart for the nations. His writing reflects his desire to see believers rooted in Scripture and engaged in God's global mission. Ben lives in the United States with his family.
