Author Biography
Laura lives in Edinburgh and loves to write about the supernatural creatures living all around us, the dark and horrific, and people living on the edges of society. Her short stories and flash fiction have been published by The Scottish Book Trust, appeared in anthologies and exhibited in The Museum of Childhood by writing collective 26, and her next short piece 'A Beltane Prayer' will be published in a collection by Freight Books in autumn 2016. She was selected as one of 17 local emerging writers by City of Literature, and read her story 'Loch na B鑛ste' at the Edinburgh International Book Festival as part of the Story Shop programme. A regular attendee of City of Literature's monthly salon, she is currently querying her first novel, an urban fantasy set in Edinburgh.
