Author Biography
Dr. Carr is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and has been practicing for over 24 years. He completed his residency at the University of Southern California in 1991, and has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at the same institution. He has been a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1993. He is also a seasoned researcher and has conducted over 100 clinical research studies as the Principal Investigator. Dr. Carr has served as the Medical Director of a number of inpatient and outpatient programs over the years, including: - The Return to Work/Function program - The Co-occurring disorders program - The Elders program - The Transitions program - The Share program II (substance abuse program) - Intensive Outpatient programs - Partial Hospital programs - Psychogeriatric consultants
