It's looks at different leadership styles, gifts and skills. And it's also includes other women's stories from Margaret Sentamu and Christy Wimber to a Vicky Thompson and Bev Murrill. There are other contributors.
Back Jacket
The role of women in church leadership is not a new topic of debate, but one that is still hotly contested. In Gifted, Debbie Duncan presents a refreshingly new perspective on how all church leaders can be better at what they do when they listen to the voices of both men and women who lead. Rooted in Christian tradition, theology, and theory, Debbie Duncan helps us to understand how present-day practices came into being. Testimonials by several women church leaders from a variety of theological backgrounds reflect - in practical terms - what is said in each chapter. This is a book written by a prominent female leader speaking into the lives of other women, and is an indispensable resource and one of encouragement and support for women leaders everywhere.
