by Mike Henderson (Author)
Faithful Resistance: Formation, Conscience, and the Counterfeit moves beneath the surface of cultural crises to examine the deeper architecture of the human person. Why do false worldviews arise? Why do systems harden against correction? Why does authority distort when detached from revelation? Tracing the movement from Eden to the present, Mike Henderson shows how incompleteness enters when revelation is refused and how counterfeit systems emerge to manage what only Christ can complete. Drawing on Scripture and theological clarity, he exposes the inner logic of deception and the necessity of coercion where truth is rejected. This is not a political manifesto or an academic treatise but a call to formation and to faithful resistance, not as reaction but as obedience formed under truth. Henderson explores the design of spirit, soul, and body, the restoration of conscience under Christ, and the limits of self-grounding systems. In a world tempted to manufacture meaning, belonging, and moral authority, this book calls believers back to the only true completion: Christ himself. This is the story of how incompleteness gives rise to illusion and how Christ restores wholeness.
